![]() Minami-sensei creates very relatable, realistic (okay. The manga's real merits began to shine as the story progressed. And in the beginning of the series, though the scenarios Minami-sensei thrusts our star couple in tug at your hearstrings and makes your heart race, it seemed no different from many other shoujo mangas I have read. ![]() Hibino is your typical Mary Sue, one who has gone from being an outcast to fitting in and making friends, and Tsubaki is your typical bad boy gone good. ![]() The premise of the story is cliche, good girl falls in love with the bad boy. I wonder to myself, if the art was not good, would I have miseed out on such a wonderful shoujo manga? I would deeply regret not reading this. I remember starting this series because the cover art was gorgeous (and indeed, Minami-sensei has a beautiful art style). Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu is Minami Kanan's best work by far.
